Hi! I’m Debra, and I specialize in providing therapy for adults of all ages. I have a particular passion for working with older adults (65 and up), adults with autism and developmental disabilities, schizophrenia, and individuals who are navigating the challenges of supporting or caring for a loved one with Autism, developmental disabilities, or aging-related concerns. I accept most insurances, including Medicare, and offer sessions in our comfortable Fuquay Varina office or conveniently via telehealth, whichever feels best for you.

With over 32 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a blend of education, professional expertise, and real-life understanding to my work. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported.

If you’re struggling to advocate for yourself, find it hard to start or sustain conversations, or experience anxiety when communicating with others, I can help. If you’re adjusting to lifestyle or health changes after retirement, we can explore ways to find balance and purpose.

I also bring both personal and professional experience in supporting individuals with Autism and their families. Whether you’re an autistic adult yourself or caring for someone who is, I can share practical tools and insight to help you navigate daily life with more confidence and ease.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches—including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and communication and self-empowerment skills—and tailor each session to your unique needs.
