Meet our Team

I am a clinical social worker licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and California. I have 39 years of mental health experience working with adults and children. I have successfully worked with clients with a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, bipolar, trauma and abuse.  I am also experienced in and can help with relationship issues, anger management, self esteem, control issues, family of origin issues, parenting, loneliness and work issues.

I believe in working from a holistic/ empowering approach, tending to the mind, body and spirit of the individual and family. The strategies, and skills that I use most in my work are from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior, EMDR Therapy and integrative medicine for mental health. I also use other methods to fit the needs and of the individual. I honor and attend to social and cultural issues such as discrimination, racial and gender bias and multi-generational post traumatic stress.
