Hello! I’m Donna

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with almost 30 years experience working with children, teens and adults. I have provided mental health services as a school counselor, through private practice, community based services and through managed care. I specialize in working with children ages 4 to 13. I believe play therapy is the most affective way to assist children in processing their feelings and  experiences. Through play therapy children are able to develop better ways of functioning. I have extensive training and experience in play therapy.

I also enjoy assisting parents with building strong, happy relationships with their children. Parenting can be challenging even in the best of circumstances. I can help parents to develop strategies to manage their children’s emotions and problematic behaviors.

I feel passionate about providing my clients, whether children or adults, with an emotionally safe environment to grow. I have experience assisting clients who are dealing with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and relationship issues.

Whether your difficulties are situational or issues you have dealt with for a long time, I can assist you in discovering your strengths and shaping the life you desire. I look forward to working with you.
